back to life....

i hope everyone had a good holiday. it was nice to have hubby home for a few days. then he unexpectedly had to work on sunday. so this has totally messed with my routine. it felt like he was on shift work. craziness!

anyhoo, just wanted to show a few things i have acquired in the past few weeks.

i got this batch of goodies a while ago at one of the thrift stores on base. the material has trains on it, there is a bag full of cross stitch thread, an old reader, a few vintage patterns and a cross stitch piece with strawberries. what shall i make??.....

these are wine corks i found at yet another thrift store. i don't drink wine...or anything really for that matter....but they are so cool. already have ideas.....

and finally a few things from a german "floh markt" yesterday after church. a vintage glass container, a thick white sheet, a linen table cloth and what i thought was a sheet but turned out to be a duvet cover. very neat stuff.

and in the mail i got my "supply" package from sister so keep checking my etsy shop for some new treasures!
