fall is here....
last weekend hubby and i went to the pumpkin festival. its a small festival. no music concerts but i kind of liked that. much calmer. there was a big emphasis on things made from hay. the dog you see is made from hay. it reminds me of trooper. what do you think?
other things included homemade food, wooded toys and build your own bear workshop. the kids were having an especially good time with face painting, king of the hay bale and the corn Field maze. of course there were things for the adults too. the wood splitter, the flower picking for the ladies and don't forget the beer! Germans are never without their beer! we had a good time. just enough culture to satisfy me and not too much to drive hubby crazy! a plus was that it was only 30min away.have a good day.......
